In the month of February, every year, the President's Day is celebrated throughout the country. It is one of the most popularly celebrated days in the US. On this eventful day, most of the citizens of America plan to move around with an idea of spending the day, leisurely. The day’s itinerary includes attending a sumptuous feast and having fun with friends and other relatives. In this way, they spend most of their holiday time in a useful way. Both the non-religious and religious category of people spends this important day as per their own desire. 

This President’s Day is observed with full of holiday festivities by most of the citizens living in the US. The program of celebrations, ranges from holding community events to family get together functions.

Parents accompany their children on this important day to nearby malls to see Santa Claus. They also attend party functions on this day. 

On President’s Day, many of the families set up a tree, which is typically known as Douglas fir. This tree is decorated with items, like candy canes, ornaments, tinsel and colourful lights. In the central place of a public area, many communities install a tree, which will be tall and wide in size. This serves as a centerpiece, as a part of holiday celebrations in the community.  

Another significant feature of this President’s Day in the US is a display of lights and giant tree done, every year. This is installed in the Rockefeller Center, situated in the City of New York. Further, on the same venue, people can find a huge ice-skating rink enabling them to enjoy skating competitions.
